Growing up in the restaurant industry and following the footsteps of my biggest mentor, My father who created his own establishment in 1966 by the name of Roxy Restaurant in Chandigarh, I had the dream to create my own. That’s where my journey began. (Experience)- In 1992 I joined Food Craft Institute to hone my culinary skills. I was selected by the Taj group of hotels. I did my apprenticeship in TajView, Agra. I was later offered a position at Taj Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. During my time there I was fortunate enough to work under Chef Gulam Rasool ji, then I migrated to Canada to pursue my dream of opening up my own establishment. That’s how Rick’s kitchen came about like a fruit of my passion and dream.
